I work with production companies, game developers and other composers to help their projects come to life. My work has reached over 49 million viewers in 115 countries worldwide. I have also worked a musician and conductor on the Tony Award-winning productions of A Strange Loop and Parade on Broadway.

FILM, TV, & GAMES COMPOSER

My music is rooted in character, storytelling, and collaboration, due in part to my years of writing and working in musical theatre. Over a decade of experience in music production, performance and orchestration informs my music in all media — including games, film and TV. My music is evocative and emotional — whether it’s for a rock band or a full orchestra.

”It’s like working with a colleague you’ve known for years.

Making a game is hard, working with Mike isn’t.”

The Light Princess at American Repertory Theater (2014)

My work for theatre has been produced across the US and has received grants from ASCAP, the Jonathan Larson Foundation and the Queen Council on the Arts. I love writing songs with rich melodies and clever, insightful lyrics. I was recommended for the ASCAP Harold Adamson Award by Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz, who called my song Pieces of Them “a home run in every regard.”

In 2015, my musical The Light Princess was produced off-Broadway at The New Victory Theatre in the heart of Times Square, and was named a New York Times Critic's Pick.

ORCHESTRATOR

My orchestrations have elevated intimate theatre projects and international television shows alike. My knowledge of traditional and modern instruments alike helps other composers realize the full potential of their music.
