"Thy small pipe
Is as the maiden's organ, shrill and sound,
And all is semblative a woman's part."
- Twelfth Night, Act I, scene 4
Loosely based on Twelfth Night, Flipside is the story of a young actor
who pretends to be gay to get a cheap sublet. The actor, Robbie, falls in
love with his roommate, Rachel, and Rachel’s closeted boyfriend, Jamie,
falls for Robbie, add to the mix Robbie’s conservative father, two less-
than-successful former aspiring stars, a precocious intern, and a drag
queen named Hershey Kiss, and hilarity ensues.
Enter the world of Flipside, where people go to extremes to figure out
who they are.
